Board of Managers
The Illinois Foundation for Quality Health Care (IFQHC) is governed by its Board of Managers, consisting of 14 members. The Board provides guidance to the leadership team for the strategic direction of IFQHC and the Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) contract. The membership is intended to reflect the customers and communities we serve. The Board includes Medicare beneficiaries, health care executives, physicians, business leaders and other individuals as appropriate.
Board members are appointed to three-year terms and may serve no more than two consecutive terms for a majority of the members. A minority of the members can serve three consecutive terms. Terms are staggered so approximately one-third of the board is appointed each year. Board members are compensated $750 per meeting for board service; $250 for conference calls.
