Did you know?
It is estimated that over 100,000 physicians will invest in an EHR
within the next two to three years. If implemented correctly, EHRs can be
expected to improve your practice in a variety of ways including:
● Enhance quality of patient care
● Reduce office overhead costs
● Increase reimbursement for services performed
● Improve practice marketability
● Lower malpractice exposure
● Allow for better time utilization
● Position office for 3rd party pay or pay-for-performance incentives

DOQ-IT University is comprised of interactive, Web-based learning modules designed to guide QIOs and physician practices through the phases of Health Information Technology (HIT) adoption --assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation/improvement and care management. Each module educates the user through a series of lessons with associated tools, which facilitate the adoption and application of technology (such as Electronic Health Records) and care management strategies. The content is designed for small to medium size physician practices, utilizing both health information technology and other resources, to maximally engage patients in their care.
