Don Lovasz, Chief Executive Officer
Iowa Foundation for Medical Care
Don LovaszDon Lovasz is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Iowa Foundation for Medical Care (IFMC). He is responsible for oversight of IFMC’s health management systems including its care, quality and information business lines. IFMC’s operational centers are located in five states across the country and serve an extensive client listing of federal, state and commercial organizations. With 30 years experience in health-care related fields, Mr. Lovasz has led a full array of clinical and operational quality initiatives focusing on improving value. He has also been involved in organizational quality improvement and accreditation processes that contributed to winning industry, state, and national recognition.
Mr. Lovasz received his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, and his bachelor’s degree from Olivet Nazarene University in Kankakee, Illinois. He earned a diploma in respiratory therapy from the University of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois.

Peg Mason, RHIT, CPHQ, Group Vice President for Quality Management

Peg MasonPeg Mason is responsible for oversight and administration of public sector contracts for health care management and quality improvement held by IFMC/IFQHC.  Ms. Mason has over 25 years of experience in health care quality improvement, including four years as director of Hospital Reporting Program Quality Improvement Organization Support Center (HRP QIOSC). 

 

Nancy Moersch, MA, ABD, Senior Director of Illinois Operations

Nancy MoerschNancy Moersch is responsible for the daily execution of the Illinois QIO contract.  Nancy has over 20 years of progressive responsibility and experience in  healthcare, clinical practice, adult educational methods, project management, quality improvement methodology, organizational and motivational psychology, team building, training and consulting. For general questions pertaining to Illinois operations, please contact Nancy at nmoersch@ilqio.sdps.org or (630) 928-5823.
